The Orlando Booth at GDC wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of Orlando companies, community organizations, educational institutions, and local government. We’re proud to be supported by amazing partners that represent the diversity of talent and opportunity in Orlando.

Indienomicon along with the greater Orlando digital media industry are coordinating a shared “Orlando” booth at the annual Game Developers Conference (GDC) to represent Orlando’s independent game studios. At GDC, members of the game industry from around the world have the opportunity to meet each other and develop business relationships, and to identify games with potential. Having company representation at the event is expensive, though, and a booth is usually far beyond the means of the average small studio. Because of this, we must take steps to grow Orlando’s industry exposure.
As a city well-positioned to specialize in entertainment technology, Orlando has an opportunity to be a center for game development. The resources and knowledge provided by one of the world’s largest clusters of modeling and simulation, combined with the art and culture created by the many people who work at the theme parks and the numerous entertainment venues in Orlando, provide the talent, insight, and technical skill that game companies need.
The Game Developers Conference® (GDC) is the largest professionals-only industry event dedicated to the creation of games, including computer, console, mobile, tablet, smartphone and online games to gather and exchange ideas to shape the future of the industry. GDC is unquestionably the single most important event for game development professionals to expand their knowledge, learn new skills and make valuable business connections.
